I've been pondering this mom blog adventure for quite some time, and just recently, my circumstances lit a fire under me to finally do it. And the fuel to that fire was - I need help. Being a mom for 22 years and counting has been my main gig, blessing, and occasional sanity-breaker. Along the way, I've sought advice from wiser, more experienced parents to help me (and my precious husband) navigate the ups and downs of raising our kids and figuring our life with them. I see these shortcuts not as lazy parenting but as a smart way to skip some of the unnecessary hurdles and red tape. My kids are getting older and more independent, and now it's my turn to share experiences and help other moms (and dads) in hopes to make their parenting journey a little smoother. I'm eager to reflect on my parenting triumphs and fails, share them, and offer tips and ideas that apply to a wide range of parenting situations. I dedicate this blog to the many moms who have guided me with love and non-judgmental tenderness. Now, it's my turn to help other parents make a more direct impact on their parenting journey by sharing what I've learned, while also adding some fun ways to make life a little more exciting!
